Traditional mukluks in a women's size 7 to 8 that are great for snowshoeing or wearing around the house. The bottoms are smoked moosehide and the tops are canvas with braid trim and wool ties. 100% wool duffle liners that are hand washable. Some of the warmest footwear you will ever wear. Double moosehide soles for extra long wear. These mukluks are suitable for wearing around the house or in cold snow, but not for city wear on hard pavement or wet weather. They are not waterproof but they are excellent for snowshoeing as the smoked moosehide bottoms are much more breathable than commercially tanned leather or rubber boots. Your feet will never be wet from sweating. |
These mukluks are suitable for wearing around the house or in cold snow, but not for city wear on hard pavement or wet weather. They have soft soles. They are a delight to wear in snow because they feel like bedroom slippers or going barefoot in the snow which is a wonderful feeling. I wear mine all winter in the house and they are very comfortable over a wide range of temperatures.You can also wear them in the summer without the duffle liners. I am wearing the pair I made for myself 10 years ago, very similar to these ones, and they are still going strong. |
